Clariant’s mission defines the company’s purpose and commitment to customers whilst providing vision by means of proactive and responsive customer relationship management. Through Corporate Governance, the top management has committed itself to an exemplary attitude. These together with Clariant’s values and the Code of Conduct present a way of working that is a requirement for all employees. This set of information forms the framework for our behavior and is used as a daily model for our activities.

The realization of our mission is determined by Clariant’s employees, who work for the company’s performance in accordance with the designed structure and allocated tasks. Here, process orientation is one of the cornerstones of our
Management System. It supports the realization of our principles and fulfillment of the basic requirements of the standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. In this context, Clariant considers an integrated and certified Management System for quality, environment, safety and health as an essential precondition for achieving business excellence. Clariant has been globally certified according to these standards since 2007. We use these internationally accepted requirements and the related control mechanisms for continuous improvement of our products, services
Management System
and cultural behavior.

Methods as well as organizational support are provided to the employees in the course of our Operational Excellence initiative as well as the worldwide implementation of the Lean Sigma concept; thus, our employees are enabled to contribute to the necessary changes for realization of our mission and achieving our vision.
