The Catalysis R&D Center develops new catalysts and technologies for use in industrial and environmental processes. Our product development activities address the global challenges of the efficient use of raw materials and energy, and contribute to the protection of our environment.
Based on our expertise as a catalyst supplier to leading global producers of chemicals, plastics, andfuels , our researchers have a keen awareness of feasible operations in production units. This knowledge combined with our fundamental understanding of complex mechanisms enables us to develop new approaches to catalytic challenges in our world. Our catalysts also allow the use of alternative feedstocks as raw materials for chemicals and fuels, and to clean emissions of industrial processes and combustion engines to limit their impact on the environment.
The highest priority is to deliver products with leading edge performance that allow our customers to operate their plants in the most economic way.
Our laboratory and pilot plant activities are complemented by state-of-the-art high throughput testing facilities that enable rapid screening of samples, and accelerate catalyst development. The global network of R&D locations and production sites in all regions ensures proximity to our customers.
We utilize strategic partnerships with academia to deepen our insights in fundamentals and ensure early access to new technology developments. |
