Charlotte, January 20, 2017 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, is adapting its Personal Care business operating model in the United States West Coast to seamlessly bring its innovative ingredients to this fast-paced, entrepreneurial market. The company is expanding its direct-to-customer sales approach and is incorporating a regional supply chain to directly support this market.

This new model will provide the company's West Coast customers with direct access to all of Clariant's innovative technologies, regional technical and marketing support, and local warehousing for an optimized supply chain.

Strickland appointed to West Coast account manager
Brittney Strickland is Clariant's primary account manager serving the West Coast market. She comes to Clariant with more than 7 years' experience working in the Personal Care industry for both a leading global raw material supplier and distributor. During her tenure in the industry, she developed and implemented business strategies, developed new markets, and managed customer projects to deliver growth. Strickland received her BS degree from the Ohio State University and currently is working on an MBA degree at Syracuse University's Whitman School of Business. She is an active member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists and Beauty Industry West.
