Antistatic agent for plastic materials

Hostastat® FA 24

Hostastat FA 24 is an ethoxylated alkyl amine which provides highly effective internal antistatic properties to thermoplastic polymers.
Benefícios
  • Hostastat FA 24 is an antistatic agent based on renewable fatty acids with advantages in terms of volatiles, color and odor
  • In combination with Hostastat FE 1 it shows a well balanced performance in terms of time to get the antistatic effect and durability of the effect

Applications
Hostastat FA 24 is a highly effective internal antistatic agent. It is added to equalize and reduce static charges on polymers surfaces preventing undesired or hazardous effects caused by dust attraction, spark discharge, ink misting.

Hostastat FA 24 offers high performance and long term efficiency for thermoplastic polymers, i.e. polyolefins or styrenics for applications where immediate antistatic effects are required it is recommended to combine Hostastat FA 24 with rapidly acting antistatic agents, .e.g. Hostastat FE 2.
