      Clariant’s Exolit® non-halogenated flame retardants provide environmental friendly and sustainable solutions for products used in a variety of industries. Clariant's flame retardant 20% glass fiber reinforced polyamide 6/66 using Exolit® (PA6/66-GF20 FR) 3D printer filament is an exceptionally printing material that has good mechanical properties and achieves UL 94 V-0 flammability standards. more

    • ESD safe PET-G

      The sudden flow of electricity between two electrically charged objects can cause harm to sensitive parts such as electronics, affect magnetic media and potentially cause fires. To protect against this, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safe materials are often used to hold sensitive parts. ESD grade materials are polymers that are not insulating but actually conduct. Clariant provides a series of ESD safe materials that are based on unique fillers and optimized for material extrusion type printing. PET-G, PC+ABS, polycarbonate and polyamide based ESD options are available to address varied ESD safe needs such as ease of printing, higher impact strength and material flexibility. more

    • PLA-HI-GF10

      Clariant developed this 3D printer filament while testing a number of candidate materials for an industrial customer. The customer desired a very strong and tough (not brittle) material that printed with many common 3D printers and would not regularly require drying. Clariant's high impact modified 10% glass fiber reinforced polylactic acid (PLA-HI-GF10) 3D printer filament proved to be the best material for this industrial customer and is now offered as an exceptional material for the production of manufacturing aids and functional parts that require high strength and toughness. Clariant Hostanox® P-EPQ® and Hostavin® ARO 8 are added to PLA-HI-GF10 to improve the heat stability and resistance to thermo-oxidative degradation and yellowing of the material during printing and usage. more

      Clariant polypropylene (PP) 3D printer filament is optimized with an additive to improve interlayer adhesion during printing. Clariant Hostanox® P-EPQ® and Hostavin® N 30 are added to the polypropylene to improve the heat stability and resistance to thermo-oxidative degradation and yellowing during printing and usage. more

    • PA6/66-CF20

      Clariant's 20% carbon fiber reinforced polyamide 6/66 (PA6/66-CF20) is created by combining an exceptional copolyamide 6/66 with long carbon fibers. This combination results in a material that is exceptionally strong, chemically and thermally resistant and has minimized warpage due to the carbon fibers. more

      Clariant’s Exolit® non-halogenated flame retardants provide environmental friendly and sustainable solutions for products used in a variety of industries. Flame Retardant Polyamide 6/66 Using Exolit® (PA6/66 FR) 3D printer filament is created by compounding polyamide 6/66 (a blend of polyamide 6 and polyamide 66) with the phosphorus based flame retardant Exolit®. The 3D printer filament prints exceptionally and can be used to produce a variety of parts that require flame retardancy and good mechanical properties. more

    • Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) 95

      Clariant TPU 95 3D printer filament allows customer the opportunity to print flexible and soft material on numerous 3D printers. Clariant’s TPU 95 3D printer filament uses a Shore A 95 TPU with high tensile strength and excellent wear resistance. Clariant adds Licolub® WE 4 and Hostavin® B-CAP® via a Renol® masterbatch to provide an optimized Shore A 95 TPU for 3D printing and end use application. more

    • PA6/66-GF20

      Clariant's 20% glass fiber reinforced polyamide 6/66 (PA6/66-GF20) is a great material for the production of strong 3D printed parts. The glass fibers help increase mechanical properties and minimize warpage while printing. more

    • Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) 85

      Clariant TPU 85 3D printer filament meets numerous customer requests for more flexible and softer materials. Clariant’s standard TPU 85 3D printer filament uses a Shore A 85 TPU with high tensile strength, excellent wear resistance and high flowability. Clariant adds Licolub® WE 4 and Hostavin® B-CAP® via a Renol® masterbatch to provide an optimized TPU for 3D printing and end use application. more

    • PC+ABS-GF15

      Clariant 15% Glass Fiber Reinforced PC+ABS (PC+ABS-GF15) is created by adding 15% glass fibers to a Polycarbonate + Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (PC+ABS) polymer blend to provide a strong and tough material with improved resistance to warpage during printing. Clariant additives are added via a Renol® masterbatch to improve the heat stability and resistance to thermo-oxidative degradation and yellowing. more
