Patent & License Management
Patent & License Management (PLM) provides comprehensive services concerning all patent matters globally. PLM protects Clariant innovation via patent rights and technology-related contracts and ensures Clariant's freedom to operate. In addition, PLM supports the Business Units in developing and implementing patent strategies, managing the respective patent portfolios, and enforcing their patent rights.
Trademark Management (TM) is globally responsible for all trademark matters of Clariant, comprising prosecution (availability searches, registration and renewal) and enforcement. In addition TM supports the Business Units in implementing trademark strategies and managing the respective trademark portfolios.
Scientific Information Management
Scientific Information Management (SIM) globally maximizes the value from innovation by providing success critical scitech information needed within the innovation process for decision making. SIM services comprise online searches as well as access to scientific databases.
