Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, officially opens its new EUR 100 million global R&D flagship in Frankfurt, Germany.
The Clariant Innovation Center (CIC), based at the Industriepark Höchst, will be the flagship of Clariant’s competence centers in chemical research and process technology as well as state-of-the art analytical laboratories and application laboratories of several Business Units. The CIC will also house the departments for Intellectual Property Management and New Business Development. As global research flagship, the CIC will ensure the coordination of Clariant’s global R&D network which includes R&D centers across Europe, North America, Brazil, Japan, India and China.
