Antifrogen® N is not suitable for the use in food or pharmaceutical applications. Alternatively, the use of Antifrogen® L is recommended. The product is inhibited without the use of nitrites-, amines-, borates-, silicates- and phosphates.       Antifrogen SOL Clean is a physiological harmless colorless clear fluid based on glycol ethers. Antifrogen SOL Clean is used as a cleaning agent for solar thermal systems.       Antifrogen® SOL HT is a physiologically harmless, yellowish, clear liquid based on an aqueous solution of higher boiling glycols, which is used as a heat transfer medium in solar heating systems, also those exposed to high thermal loads. The product is inhibited without the use of nitrites-, borates-, silicates- and phosphates. It meets the requirements of DIN 4757, part 3, for solar heating systems. The optimization of the corrosion inhibition system was performed without the use of CMR-substances (cancerogenic, mutagenic, reprotoxic). more

      Leak Indicator-Clariant is a liquid, tinted green, for use as a leak-detection-fluid after mixing with water for double-walled tanks.       Protectogen® C aqua is a yellowish, water soluble, glycol free liquid which contains a highly efficient combination of corrosion inhibitors. The product is inhibited without the use of nitrite, amine, borate, phosphate and silicate. The optimization of the corrosion inhibition system was performed without the use of CMR-substances ( C ancerogenic M utagenic R eprotoxic). According to the formulation Protectogen® C aqua does not contain any restricted substances as described in the EG-guideline 2011/65/EG (RoHS = Restriction of Hazardous Substances), article 4 §1 like lead, mercury, cadmium, chromate VI, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE). more

      Hordaphos 222 is a clear, colourless to yellowish liquid with an ester-like odour. It has reacts acidic and can be neutralized with organic and inorganic bases. Hordaphos 222 is emulsifiable in water and soluble in common organic solvents. Hordaphos 222 is miscible with naphthenic and paraffinic mineral oils and with commercial vegetable and animal oils.     • Hansa Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70 S-EDW VP 5159

      Hansa Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70-S-EDW VP 5159 is an easily dispersible pigment designed for water based pigment dispersions which are used in decorative paints. The pigment is surface modified with a highly efficient and widely compatible additive. Optimum tinting strength can be achieved in relatively short time using a dissolver and suitable dispersing agents. The simplified dispersion process that does not include a bead mill results in a cost efficient manufacturing of pigment dispersions. Furthermore dispersions made with Hansa Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70-S-EDW VP 5159 can be used to tint the new generation of low VOC decorative paints.* * As defined in EU directive 2004/42/EC, annex II, phase II.       Yellow pigment for air-drying paints with considerably higher tinctorial strength and a slightly greener shade than Hansa Yellow G grades which it can often replace to advantage. Because of the high risk of blooming it is not suitable for stoving enamels. more

      Hansa Yellow 10G 41 gran. is a very green shade and opaque monoazo pigment in granule form. In comparison to the powder type, the granule form is stronger with improved recrystallization stability. It exhibits good light- and weather fastness properties. Recommended for paste inks as well as for solvent- and water based packaging gravure and flexographic printing inks. more

      The Hostatint E pastes are a range of pigment preparations designed for water-based industrial coatings based on a water-soluble acrylic carrier resin, neutralized with ammonia. The pastes are produced within narrow tolerances of color and color strength allowing highly consistent paint production path with manual and automatic dispensers. Hostatint E are manufactured without alkyl phenol ethoxylated (APEO) additives. Permanent Red FGR 02 has a darker, more transparent full shade in air-drying paints and has up to 10 % greater tinctorial strength than Permanent Red FGR.       Hostaphat OPS 100 is a solubilizer or hydrotope for nonionic detergents in liquid cleaning agents at high ph values and a corrosion inhibitor for aluminium, iron and zinc in alkaline systems. Hostaphat is used for various industrial lubricants applications. Hostaphat is a corrosion inhibitor and EP/AW additive for cutting & forming fluids and fire resistant hydraulic fluids.       Nipacide BIT 20 is an in-can biocide based on BIT. Nipacide BIT 20 is a glycol based solution; low toxicity biocide developed for the complete in-can protection of water based products. Nipacide BIT 20 is effective against a wide range of microorganisms including gram positive and gram negative bacteria, yeast and fungi. Even at full water vapor capacity, Desi Pak remains dry and free-flowing with no apparent change in size, shape or texture. The adsorption capacity of Desi Pak is considerable even at low humidity levels and increases as relative humidity rises. Desi Pak’s adsorption rate is high enough to prove effective for most applications at low humidity. At high humidity levels, Desi Pak adsorbs moisture much more slowly than silica gel or molecular sieve, making handling less problematic. Desi Pak’s adsorption capacity as a function of temperature remains constant at constant relative humidity between 20°C and 50°C (however the rate may vary). Desi Pak products can be reactivated for multiple uses. Sorb-It binds water molecules in random intersection channels of various diameters and remains dry and free flowing, even after fully saturated with water vapor. Sorb-It’s adsorption capacity is relatively small at low humidity levels but increases as humidity rises. At high humidity levels, Sorb-It adsorbs moisture faster than desiccant clay. Sorb-It products can be reactivated for multiple uses. Getter Pak® (Carbon): Odor and Gas Adsorbent Getter products are designed to control objectionable odors and gases within packaged products. Made of activated carbon, Getter has a highly porous structure and surface area that attracts and bonds with gases and volatile organic molecules. Tri-Sorb® (Molecular Sieve): Moisture and Odor/Gas Adsorbent Tri-Sorb molecular sieve desiccants are the most aggressive of Clariant’s desiccant options. Based on the synthetic zeolite (molecular sieve) types 3A, 4A and 13X, these zeolites exhibit crystalline structures with well-defined and uniform pores of 3Å, 4Å and 10Å diameters respectively. Tri-Sorb adsorbs water vapor and gas molecules that fit into the pores. The adsorption capacity of Tri-Sorb is relatively high at low humidity levels and remains almost constant as relative humidity increases. The adsorption rate is also high at high humidity levels, where Tri-Sorb accepts moisture much faster than Desi Pak, making handling more difficult. The adsorption capacity of Tri-Sorb as a function of temperature remains constant at constant relative humidity and absolute humidity between 20°C and 50°C (however the rate may vary). 2-in-1 Pak® (Carbon and Bentonite Clay or Silica Gel): Moisture and Odor/Gas Adsorbent Clariant’s 2-in-1 products combine activated carbon with either bentonite clay or silica gel to control moisture, gas and odors simultaneously.
