D-FOAM-R C119 is a 16% nominal, hydrophobic silica dispersion in hydrotreated paraffinic mineral oil. D-FOAM-R C119 is primarily used as a concentrate to build fully formulated organic defoamers for coatings, inks, adhesives, pulp & paper and many other industrial uses.

Applications
Typical applications for D-FOAM-R are:
  • Waterborne Coatings and Adhesives
D-FOAM-R C119 is typically used as a formulation concentrate. It is readily compatible with mineral oils, hydrophobic polyglycols, PEG esters and other mineral oil based dispersions. Acceptable stability of the silica suspension is generally accomplished by maintaining a minimum formula viscosity of approximately 800 cps.
Handling and Storage
Keep containers closed and protect from heat, weather or direct sunlight. Do not store in close proximity to strong oxidizers, sparks or flame. Seal partially used containers to protect from contamination or absorption of moisture (which can be detrimental to product quality and performance).
