Polytetrafluoroethylene modified polyethylene wax

Ceridust® 9630 F

Ceridust 9630 F is a polytetrafluoroethylene modified polyethylene wax
Benefits
  • Excellent scratch resistance and slip properties
  • Very good matting effect
  • Very good anti-blocking and anti-caking properties
  • Matting agent in coatings and printing inks in can and coil coatings
  • PFOA REACH compliant(1)
    (1) Clariant has conducted sound analytical tests. Measurements of very low levels of PFOA as specified in "Entry 68" of Annex XVII to REACH require sophisticated analytical techniques. We have used a scientifically sound, reliable, validated measurement method and fulfill the limitation of <25 ppb.

    Applications
Ceridust 9630 F is recommended for solvent based coatings/ inks and powder coating applications.

It is a slip and rub resistance additive in solvent and pasty printing ink systems.

In solvent based coatings the micronized wax compound performs as scratch resistance additive and lowers the coefficient of friction (slip). It also improves the abrasion resistance and prevents metal markings.

In powder coatings it is a very effective scratch and abrasion resistance additive which can be easily dispersed in all kind of powder coating systems.
