Genapol PF 40 is a block copolymer of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide, containing 40% w/w ethylene oxide. It is a low-foaming surfactant with good wetting and dispersing action, used in various industrial applications including detergents, emulsion polymerization, pigment preparations, silicone emulsions, and construction products. It improves latex stability, pigment wetting, and acts as an emulsifier and plasticizer in different formulations.
Informations sur le produit
Avantages
- Label-free product
- Food contact approved
- Effective wetting, dispersing & low foaming across coatings, pigments, and construction materials
- Stabilizes polymer systems — improves latex, freeze-thaw, electrolyte, and shear stability in emulsion polymerization and polymer dispersions
- Versatile emulsifier — suitable for silicone emulsions, foam control agents, and hydrophobic pigments, preventing sedimentation and thixotropy
- Enhances construction performance — plasticizing effect on cement, gypsum, and lime; reduces mixing time; disperses inorganic pigments and carbon blacks in colored concrete; prevents binder agglomeration in high electrolyte environments
- Broad compatibility & chemical resistance — works with nonionic, anionic, and cationic surfactants; resistant to water hardness salts, acids, and alkalis
