SCALETREAT SD 8015

SCALETREAT SD 8015 is a synergistic blend of converters and chelating agents. It will dissolve barium, strontium and calcium sulfates, iron and calcium carbonates, and iron oxide corrosion products. Furthermore, SCALETREAT SD 8015 effectively penetrates and water wets oil wet deposits and loosens and disperses non-dissolvable deposits. It is formulated to avoid formation clay swelling or disaggregation and maintains dissolved iron in solution. Therefore, formation damage effects due to clay or iron hydroxide plugging are avoided. SCALETREAT SD 8015 is highly effective at removing formation damage due to scale or the invasion of drilling mud barite.
