VageStop®
VageStop is a natural ingredient made from Cauliflower mushroom extract (Sparassis crispa). This mushroom is rich in veratric acid, a molecule known for its anti-microbial, anti-irritation and anti-oxidant properties.
VageStop protects the cells by inhibiting UVB-induced DNA damage. It also reduces UVB-induced irritation, by decreasing the levels of inflammatory cytokines such as PGE2 and IL-6 produced by UVB exposure. In addition, it promotes collagen synthesis by fibroblasts. All these activities allow VageStop to efficiently protect the skin against photo-aging.
