ReforMax™ 100 RS is the pre-reduced and stabilized version of our highly active and stable pre-reforming catalyst, ReforMax™ 100. It is recommended in case of plant limitations regarding proper activation or reduction of the catalyst during start-up, and can greatly simplify and speed up the process.
As with ReforMax 100, our pre-reduced version offers great flexibility in the choice of feedstock – from natural gas to LPGs and naphthas. Likewise, it extends the lifetime of the downstream steam reforming catalyst, and offers the options of increasing overall plant capacity, or operating at lower steam-to-carbon ratios.
