Steam reforming, also called primary reforming, is at the heart of the reforming process. The selection of the optimal catalysts depends on several factors including furnace design, severity of service and the type of hydrocarbon processed. Common catalysts for this process are the ReforMax 200 LDP, ReforMax 250 and ReforMax 330 LDP.
