Collector for the flotation of complex silicates especially for reverse calcite flotation
FLOTIGAM™ 7676
FLOTIGAM™ 7676 is an excellent collector for complex silicates such as mica, quartz, and wollastonite. Being relatively inactive towards calcite, this reagent is especially suited for reverse flotation of calcite, when the silicates are selectively floated. An important application is when calcium carbonate is to be used as filler in the paper industry.
