D-FOAM-R M331

D-FOAM-R M331 is a 100% active, non-silicone foam control additive for metalworking fluids and parts cleaning solutions. It is easily incorporated into concentrates and provides excellent performance and foam control in a wide range of systems. D-FOAM-R M331 has a very low VOC.

Applications
Typical applications for D-FOAM-R M331 are:
  • Synthetic Metalworking Fluids and Concentrates
  • Semi-synthetic Metalworking Fluids and Concentrates
  • Soluble Oils
  • Alkaline Cleaners and Cleaner Concentrates
In metalworking fluids, D-FOAM-R M331 is usually most effective when used as an antifoam, formulated into the concentrate. It should be added to the concentrate with good mixing to insure maximum effectiveness and stability. Concentrations of 0.2 to 1.0% (formulated into the concentrate) typically provide good concentrate clarity and long lasting foam suppression at the final use dilution. In parts washing applications, D-Foam-R M331 is generally added to the wash system as required to control foam. Continuous low dose feed is an effective way to minimize usage and avoid overdosing.
Handling and Storage
Do not store in close proximity to strong oxidizers. Unopened containers should be protected from direct rain, snow or sunlight. Seal partially used containers to protect from contamination or absorption of moisture (which can be detrimental to product quality and performance).
