Polyglykol PE-K 270 holds all relevant approvals and regulatory permissions:

OEM approval from Burckhardt Compression
The pumpability of the Polyglykol PE-K 270 has been tested and approved by Burckhardt Compression for cylinder lubrication of secondary compressors equipped with “CH” lubrication pumps in high pressure polyethylene processes for the production of Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) up to a maximum final process pressure of
• 3200 bar at a minimum oil temperature of 35 °C
• 2330 bar at a minimum oil temperature of 20 °C
Remark: Pressures of > 3200 bar are achieved by increasing lubricant temperature to 50 °C

Process approval by Lyondell Basell
Lyondell Basell tested and approved the use of Polyglykol PE-K 270 in ethylene hyper compressors operating in plants using Lupotech LDPE technology.

Food grade approval
Polyglykol PE-K 270 is NSF-H1 listed and registered under no. 146074. It is also compliant with the food regulations from the US (FDA 21 CFR § 178.3570), the European Union (EC Directive 10/2011/EC) and Germany (BfR Recommendations V, VI, XIV, XL VIII, LI, LII, LIII)

Safe use and handling
Polyglykol PE-K 270 has a favorable eco-tox profile and is free of human and environmental hazard labels according to the CLP/GHS (Globally harmonized system of classification, labeling and packaging of chemical substances and mixtures).

Broad registration status
Polyglykol PE-K 270 is a polymeric material and therefore REACH-exempted. The monomers have been registered during REACH phase 1.
It is registered in all major chemical inventories, i.e. AICS/Australia, DSL/Canada, ENCS/Japan, IECSC/China, KECI/Korea, PICCS/Philippines and TSCA/USA.
