High-Performance Dehydrogenation Catalysts for the Production of Styrene from Ethylbenzene

StyroMax™ UL Series

Edition Date :
February 06, 2026

StyroMax™ UL series catalysts are specially designed for the production of styrene via dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene at low to very low steam-to-oil ratios (SOR), in the range of 0.8 to 1.2 wt./wt. These state-of-the-art catalysts combine high activity and outstanding selectivity with robustness and reliability to ensure long and stable operation at high styrene production rates.

Based on more than 60 years of experience in dehydrogenation solutions, the StyroMax UL series has been commercially proven in numerous styrene production facilities worldwide. The catalysts are available in a variety of sizes, shapes and grades to perfectly match the needs of each unit.
