Clariant offers synthetic base stocks such as polyol esters, complex esters, and polyalkylene glycols, which cover a wide range of viscosities through a (fully) synthetic solution. All product groups offer excellent solutions for a large number of industrial lubricants such as hydraulic and quenching fluids, greases, gear and compressor oils and many other applications. In addition, Clariant also offers a rolling, cutting and forming fluid.

These synthetic stocks allow “engineering” of high-performance, premium lubricants that outperform traditional fluids based on hydrocarbons such as mineral oils and alkylbenzenes, or oils of animal and vegetable origin.
