Synthetic base fluids covering a wide range of viscosities
Improve your fluids – for engineering of high performance and premium lubricants
Clariant offers synthetic base stocks such as polyol esters, complex esters, and polyalkylene glycols, which cover a wide range of viscosities through a (fully) synthetic solution. All product groups offer excellent solutions for a large number of industrial lubricants such as hydraulic and quenching fluids, greases, gear and compressor oils and many other applications. In addition, Clariant also offers a rolling, cutting and forming fluid.
These synthetic stocks allow “engineering” of high-performance, premium lubricants that outperform traditional fluids based on hydrocarbons such as mineral oils and alkylbenzenes, or oils of animal and vegetable origin.
Key formulations benefits:
outstanding wear protection
low friction values
extremely low solidification points
excellent ageing stability
Additionally, little sensitivity to shear stress and a favorable temperature-viscosity index are key properties making Clariant’s synthetic base stocks ideally suited for both aqueous and completely water-free uses.
Polyglykol B01/40 is a polyalkylene glycol (PAG) to be used as synthetic base fluid for high performance lubricants with low friction coefficients, excellent wear properties and good thermal stability.
Polyglykol D21/700 is a polyalkylene glycol (PAG) to be used as synthetic base fluid in high performance lubricants with low friction coefficients, excellent wear properties and good thermal stability.
Polyglykol P41/300 is a water-soluble polyalkylene glycol (PAG) to be used as synthetic base fluid in gear oils and greases, as polymer in water-based quenchants and as thickener in fire-resistant hydraulic fluids.
