Dispersogen LFS
Dispersogen LFS is an anionic, surfactant-based dispersing agent for water-based pigment preparations, suitable for inorganic and organic pigments as well as for specialty carbon blacks.
The product is recommended for use in point-of-sales colorants and concentrates for in-plant tinting. Dispersogen LFS can be used as a stand-alone dispersing agent for organic pigments. For inorganic pigment, it is used in combination with a nonionic dispersing agent such as Dispersogen MT 200. The general dosage recommendation is 5-25% on organic pigments and 4-10% on inorganic pigments.
Dispersogen LFS also acts as wetting agent/compatibilizer in waterborne high PVC paints as well as in waterborne and solvent-borne low PVC lacquers. The general dosage (supply form) is 1.0-1.5% in emulsion paints, 1.0-1.5% in acrylic lacquers and 0.5-1.0% in alkyd lacquers.
