Emulsogen LCN 287
Emulsogen LCN 287 is used as a nonionic emulsifier for the emulsion polymerization of monomers like acrylates, styrene-acrylates, styrene-butadiene, and vinyl acetate. It improves the shear, temperature and electrolyte stability of polymer dispersions. The recommended usage is 1-3% active based on monomers.
Emulsogen LCN 287 also acts as wetting agent/compatibilizer in waterborne acrylic lacquers (low PVC). The general dosage (supply form) for this purpose is 1.4%-2.1%. The product is suitable for low odor paints applying for eco-labels such as Blue Angel or Ecoflower.
