Hostapal BV conc. is used as anionic emulsifier for the emulsion polymerization of acrylate, styrene-acrylate and vinyl acetate dispersions.

Applications

Use as emulsifier in emulsion polymerization:
  • vinyl acetate together with other vinyl esters, acrylates, vinyl chloride and ethylene
  • for acrylic and styrene / acrylic dispersions
  • for butadiene / styrene latex
Hostapal BV conc. is normally used in concentrations of 1.0 – 5.0 %, preferably 2.0 – 3.0 %, based on the monomers.
