Applications
The application range of Hostanox SE 4 flakes covers polyolefins (particularly polypropylene) and their copolymers, styrene polymers, polybutene-1, polyoxymethylene and other organic substrates. Hostanox SE 4 flakes is highly synergistic with phenolic antioxidants such as Hostanox O 3, or combinations of phenolic antioxidants with phosphorus-based processing stabilizers. It is preferably used to enhance the long term heat stability and colour stability of the polymers.
