Licolub® WE 4 powder

Ester of montanic acids

Edition Number :
10
Edition Date :
May 11, 2015
Licolub WE 4 powder is an ester of montanic acids with a polyol. Due to its polar center and the long, non-polar hydrocarbon chains, Licolub WE 4 powder combines internal and primarily external lubrication effects in the processing of engineering resins and PVC, especially in Polyester compounds.
In calendering of rigid PVC films Licolub WE 4 powder offers excellent lubrication properties at high thermal stability and low volatility.

Benefits

  • Combines internal and external lubricantion effects in PVC and engineering resins
  • Low volatility
  • High thermal stability
  • Low migration tendency
  • Highly efficient lubricant for PVC calendering, outperforming conventional Fatty acid complex ester
