Licomont® CaV 102 fine grain
Licomont CaV 102 fine grain is a calcium salt of long chain, saturated, linear carboxylic acids (montanic acids), providing excellent nucleating and lubricating effects in all kinds of injection molded polyamides. In injection molding applications of polyamides the reduction of the cycle time up to 25 % is possible. Due to the chemical nature, Licomont CaV 102 fine grain obtains excellent thermal stability, low volatility and color stability. Licomont CaV 102 fine grain does also not affect the transparency and the mechanical properties of polyamides and has no influence on polymer degradation. Licomont CaV 102 fine grain combines the advantages of a lubricating and nucleating agent in one product and is very effective at low concentrations (~ 0.2 – 0.5 %).
