Licomont NaV 101 is a sodium salt of montanic acids
Licomont NaV 101 acts as a suitable nucleating agent in PET and PBT. Due to the high molecular weight, it has a low volatility and favourable migration characteristics in the finished product. In addition to the excellent nucleation effect of the Licomont NaV 101, this product also has outstanding lubrication and mold- release effects. Licomont NaV 101 is effective at concentrations of 0.1 – 0.4 % in polyester.

Applications

Combined nucleating and lubricating agent especially for all types of polyester reducing the cycle time in injection molding up to 35 % and providing excellent release.

Effective internal and external lubricant for engineering resins enhancing melt flow and external release.
