Red Phosphorus HB 400 is a stabilised and microencapsulated grade of red phosphorus, delivered as a wet filter cake with 15-25% moisture. It has a good oxidation and thermal stability. Red Phosphorus HB 400 is a brownish-red powder that is insoluble in water and organic solvents.

Owing to its special stabilisation and microencapsulation Red Phosphorus HB 400 is suitable for pyrotechnical applications.

Packaging
Red Phosphorus is supplied in 200 liter, full open-head steel drums. The grade HB 400 is supplied with a 150 kg fill weight. Each drum has a ring-type lid closure.
Storage
Minimum shelf life is 12 months from the date of shipping when stored according to the said conditions.
