Red Phosphorus HB 600 is a stabilised and microencapsulatedgrade of red phosphorus, delivered as a wet filter cake with 9-25% moisture (mean value for all drums of one delivery max. 20% moisture). It has a good oxidation and thermal stability. Red Phosphorus HB 600 is a brownish-red powder that is insoluble in water and organic solvents.

Applications

Owing to its special stabilisation and microencapsulation Red Phosphorus HB 600 is suitable for pyrotechnical applications.

Packaging and Handling

Delivery form
Wet style filter cake with 9-25% moisture

Packaging
Red Phosphorus is supplied in 200 liter, full open-head steel drums. The grade HB 600 is supplied with a 150 kg fill weight. Each drum has a ring-type lid closure.

Storage
Minimum shelf life is 12 months from the date of shipping when stored according to the said conditions.
