ActiSorb™ CI 5 is used in combination with ActiSorb™ Cl 10 for the removal of very high levels of HCl in the refining and petrochemical industry.
The chloride guard is typically used for purification of net gas downstream continuous catalytic reforming (CCR) operations and for the treatment of effluents from dehydrogenation process units.
