Safebrake™ 6 M (DOT 4) is based on glycols, glycol ethers, the corresponding borates, anti-corrosion additives, and anti-oxidants.
The borate ester functions as a water sponge and increases the wet boiling point. A high wet boiling point is a crucial safety feature.
