Anionic emulsifier for emulsion polymerization

Dispersogen LFA

Dispersogen LFA is used as anionic emulsifier for the emulsion polymerization of vinyl acetate dispersions.

Dispersogen LFA is also suitable for emulsion paints to improve the paint freeze-thaw resistance and to reduce solvent use level in the paint formulation.
Benefits
The use of Dispersogen LFA offers the following advantages:

Product properties:

  • low VOC
  • free of alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEO)
  • low foaming

Performance in emulsion polymerization:

  • improved stability of the monomer emulsion
  • low coagulum formation during polymerization
  • control of particle size of the polymer dispersion
  • improved viscosity of the polymer dispersions

Performance in waterborne paints:
  • freeze-thaw resistance
  • enhances tinting strength
