Hostavin 3292 LIQ is recommended for solventborne and waterborne coatings, such as automotive OEM coatings, car refinish and general industrial coatings. Hostavin 3292 LIQ is a methylated basic HALS which can impede the crosslinking of binders, particularly acid-catalyzed systems. In such a case, Hostavin 3058 LIQ is recommended as an alternative solution. In clearcoats, a combination of Hostavin 3292 LIQ and a UV absorber such as Hostavin 3206 LIQ, Hostavin 3130 LIQ or Hostavin 3400 LIQ is recommended, depending on the binder chemistry and the degree of stabilization required.
Recommended dosage level of Hostavin 3292 LIQ: 0.5 - 2.0% (active additive on solid resin)
