Catalyst for Claus processes tail-gas treatment (TGT)

HDMax® 230

The HDMax 230 catalyst is used in Claus process plants to recover sulfur from off-gases. This tail-gas treater also promotes the hydrolysis of carbonyl sulfide (COS) and the hydrogenation of sulfur oxides (SOx) to hydrogen sulfide (H2S) at very low operating temperatures.

Clariant's range of Claus tail gas treatment (TGT) catalysts also has numerous commercial references for HDMax 213 and HDMax 214, which can be used for higher operating temperatures (around 250°C).
