Polyglykol G 500 MB Terra
Polyglykol G 500 Terra is a very low VOC humectant for waterborne pigment preparations.
It provides lower preparation viscosities compared with conventional linear polyglycoles and has little impact on wet scrub resistance. Polyglykol G 500 Terra retards the drying of pigment pastes and forms a soluble film of the pigment preparation. It prevents the formation of skin or lumps on the surface of the dispersion.
The dosage in pigment preparations varies from 5 – 15% in the preparation.
Polyglykol G 500 Terra provides the same performance as its conventional counterpart.
As member of the Terra-family, the purpose of the mass-balanced supply chain model is to use bio-based or renewable raw materials. The mass balance is certified according to the ISCC Plus standards for the chemical industry.
