Polyethylene glycol allyl methyl ether
POLYGLYKOL AM 1100
Edition Date :
January 20, 2025
Polyglykol AM grades are ethoxylates, end capped with an allyl and a methyl group. The products vary primarily in the length of their polyethylene glycol chain. The difference in molar mass largely determines the properties of the individual product. Polyglykol AM 250, AM 350 and AM 450 are low-viscous liquids, Polyglykol AM 1100 is a waxy solid. All polyethylene glycol allyl methyl ethers are hydrophilic and biodegradable. Other advantages include their compatibility with many materials, relatively high heat resistance and low toxicity.
