Ceridust 3050 is a fine particle dispersing agent and is recommended for polyolefin, like LLDPE, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE, PP etc. The micronized dispersing agent particles are close to the pigment particles and being almost statistically ideally distributed, show a high likeliness to find a place between pigment particles, thus separating them from each other. Consequently, those pigment particles will not form agglomerates. The early melting behavior of micronized particles leads to a coating effect of the pigment particles and neutralizes the binding forces of pigment particles, prevents them from reagglomeration, eases pigment dispersion and stabilizes the dispersion.
A mixture of standard powder and Ceridust already improves the color strength as well as the filter pressure value.
When used in solvent-based coatings and printing inks, Ceridust 3050 can be incorporated into coating formulations, or into wax dispersion. It improves rub and scratch resistance and enhances slip with smooth touch feel. It can also influence matting subject to dosage level applied.
In powder coating, Ceridust 3050 can be incorporated into coating formula in pre-mixing stage, or post blending stage, where it can improve the flowability of the powder hence, to increase output during extrusion process, due to its low viscosity and very good heat stability.
It also improves slip properties and enhance scratch resistance of coated finishes.
When applicated in adhesive, Ceridust 3050 can significantly reduce residual tack and deliver outstanding anti-block performance。
