Açai Oil is obtained from the fruit of the açai, a plant that grows in the Amazon region. Açaí oil acts as an emollient rich in oleic and palmitic acids, in addition to containing polyphenols that are potent natural antioxidants. These components have the ability to inhibit or decrease the oxidation processes generated by free radicals, in addition to the lipid composition of açaí oil that can assist in reducing the skin irritation process. It promotes high spreadability for cosmetic formulations with medium film forming.
