BIOTREAT 4682

Biotreat 4682 is a biocidal solution of THPS (Tetrakis Hydroxymethyl Phosphonium Sulphate) with biodegradable characteristics. It has been specially developed for the control and/or elimination of sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) in SLOP tanks or in cargo tanks with high BSW. This product is very effective against both sessile and planktonic species. It is also effective in controlling the generation of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) by BRS's (sulfate-reducing bacteria), preventing contamination with this substance in the vapor space and in the oil contained in cargo tanks and SLOP tanks.
