Biotreat 16207 is a synergistic mixture of aldehydes and a biocidal enhancer. It bases its action on the chemical reaction with the proteins of microorganisms, therefore it is effective against both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, enhanced by the (ethylenedioxy) 1,2 dimethanol molecule that acts as a biodispersant, favoring the removal of biofilms and acting directly on the sulfides produced by SRB.
