Polyglykol 8000 PS is a polyethylene glycol supplied as a powder. It is soluble in water and polar organic solvents like acetone or methanol, but insoluble in pure hydrocarbons. It shows typical chemical reactions of alcohols/diols and has a very low evaporation rate.
