Distribution

Clariant commits to its continuous capital Distribution policy and continued success sharing with our shareholders based on improved financial performance.

The bar chart shows the distribution in CHF per share by year of payout from 2014 to 2026.

- From 2014 to 2019, the distribution gradually increased from 0.36 CHF to 0.55 CHF.
- In 2020, there was a significant spike to 3.00 CHF.
- In 2021, the total distribution was 0.70 CHF, split into 0.55 CHF and 0.15 CHF.
- From 2022 to 2024, the distribution remained relatively stable around 0.40 to 0.42 CHF.
- The distribution is projected to remain stable at 0.42 CHF for 2025 and 2026.

Additional notes:
- The 2020 payout included an extraordinary dividend of CHF 3.00 due to the sale of certain business units.
- The 2021 payout includes CHF 0.55 for 2019 results and CHF 0.15 for 2020 results.
- The 2026 payout is subject to approval at the AGM.

Distribution 2026

For the Annual General Meeting, taking place on 1 April 2026, the Board of Directors proposed a distribution to shareholders through a capital reduction by way of a par value reduction of CHF 0.42 per share based on Clariant’s performance in 2025.

Subject to the approval of the AGM, the payment to shareholders in the amount of CHF 0.42 per registered share will be made beginning of June 2026, after a successful registration of the ordinary capital reduction in the Commercial Register, i.e., after the expiry of the 30-day statutory period for calling in debts, within which creditors may lodge any claims and demand security; the receipt of the audit confirmation from an approved auditing expert; and the subsequent declaratory resolution and amendments to the Articles of Association by the Board of Directors in connection with the ordinary capital reduction.
