The product is stable under normal conditions, non-hazardous according to GHS, and biodegradable with no known hazards to humans or the environment when handled correctly.

In solid oral dose formulations, VitiPure HCO is applied as hydrophobic lubricant and as sustained release agent in solid oral formulations. In topical preparations, VitiPure HCO is used as viscosity enhancer and as consistency factor.
Hostagliss™ DHSZ TERRA is a polar polymer which additionally contains an acid function that can be neutralized. The multiple functional groups of the polymer exhibit a high affinity to metal surfaces. It has good lubricity and anti-wear properties, making it suitable for use as a component in non-water miscible metal working fluids such as cutting oils or deep drawing oils. The pure substance DEPAL is sold as Exolit OP 1230 and in combination with synergists as Exolit OP 13xx & Exolit OP 14xx types. Exolit OP 1230 is the first non-halogenated flame retardant which can withstand the demanding requirements of this high end segment of engineering plastics.
