Emulsogen TS 200
Emulsogen TS 200 is a nonionic wetting agent for use as a compatibilizer in waterborne high PVC paints, as well as in waterborne and solvent-borne low PVC lacquers. The general dosage (supply form) is 1.0-1.5% in emulsion paints and in acrylic lacquers, and 0.25% in alkyd lacquers.
The additive can also be used as a dispersing agent in water-based pigment preparations, suitable for organic pigments and carbon blacks. Emulsogen TS 200 is recommended for POS-colorants as well as for concentrates for in-plant tinting. The general dosage recommendation is 5-30% on organic pigments and 20-40% on carbon black.
Furthermore, Emulsogen TS 200 acts as a nonionic emulsifier for the emulsion polymerization of monomers like acrylates, styrene-acrylates, and vinyl acetate.
