SORBACID hydrotalcites create new opportunities in the processing and manufacturing of flexible, rigid and transparent PVC products. - SORBACID™ can be well dispersed in PVC due to its small particle size, low BET-surface and special surface modification.
- SORBACID™ has a refractive index close to that of PVC. Therefore, it is suitable for use in transparent applications.
- SORBACID™ does not impact the rheological properties of PVC. The plate-out behaviour is negligible.
- SORBACID™ is highly recommended for wire and cable applications, as it shows excellent high temperature insulting properties and low water carry-over in addition.
