AddWorks PKG 184 is a pure blend of a vegetable based ethoxylated alkyl amine which provides highly effective long-term antistatic properties and an erucamide which provides slip properties to thermoplastic polymers.

  • AddWorks PKG 184 provides excellent long-term antistatic properties combined with adequate slip properties in the intended application of PP flexible films, such as CPP and BOPP.
  • It shows limited or no surface blooming, leading to excellent optical film qualities and no interference with print- or coating adhesion. It has no influence on the film mechanical properties.
  • No influence on film production efficiency eliminating the need to adjust production parameters.
  • AddWorks PKG 184 is designed to be combined with Clariant Liquid Feeding Technology (LFT) application know-how applicable to BOPP. As such it generates significant cost savings because of the pure additivation and the very low let down ratio´s (LDR`s)

AddWorks PKG 184 is a blend of highly effective internal antistatic agent for polyolefins, i.e. polypropylene and polyethylene and an effective slip agent. It is added to equalize and reduce static charges on polymers surface preventing undesired or hazardous effects caused by dust attraction, spark discharge, ink misting. It also improve slip performance and reduce coefficient or friction (CoF) of polymer surface, particularly for CPP and BOPP printable films.

AddWorkd PKG 184 offers high performance and long term efficiency of antistatic agent. It is suitable for both thick and thin applications, particularly for CPP and BOPP printable films. For applications where immediate antistatic effects are required it is recommended to combine with rapidly acting antistatic agents, e.g. Hostastat FE 1 or Hostastat FE 2.

Storage
For best shelf life store this product in a dry area at normal ambient temperatures.
Minimum shelf life is one years from the date of shipping when properly stored.
