SURFACE CLEANING
Hostagel AVS can be used in high performance cleaning formulations. Due to its rheological characteristics it provides very good properties to the products such as clinginess to vertical surfaces. Also the Hostagel AVS resistance to alkaline conditions makes it a very suitable choice for bleach systems. Hostagel AVS can provide the desired flow for a broad range of systems from gels and pastes to non-aerosol pump spray. It can also stabilize dispersed particles, making it possible to incorporate abrasive microspheres in the formulations.
CAR POLISHING
Hostagel AVS can be used in car washes and polishes. It allows stable formulations of gels, pastes and emulsions, all suitable for Care Care. It also helps in the stability and suspension of insoluble ingredients such as oils, waxes and beads. Moreover, it provides a cleaning solution that leaves less residue providing the necessary leveling and a smear-free finish to all exterior surface of the car, on all paint types including metallic ones.
HAND CARE
Hostagel AVS can be used in hand sanitizing gels, hand cleaners and hand soaps for consumer and institutional uses. It is totally compatible with water soluble solvents such as ethanol, acetone, glycols, etc, being therefore very suitable for thickening ethanol, for instance, with good clarity and rheology, making a perfect hand sanitizing gel. Moreover, based on rheology measurements, it is possible to affirm that the sensorial profile of Hostagel AVS-based cream gels is different. When compared to traditional emulsions, the hand cleaners and hand soap cream gels break differently on the skin, providing a fresh sensation.
INSECTS REPELLENTS
Hostagel AVS can be used in gel formulations of insects repellents. Its rheology profile allows cream gels that break differently on the skin, providing the same fresh sensation of hand care products, but together with protection against bug bites.
