Xanthate replacement technologyClariant’s customers were concerned with the safe handling and performance of xanthates in their operations. Through collaboration, we developed sustainable alternatives with high copper flotation performance and safer handling and disposal, lowering capital expenditure and providing a longer shelf life than solid xanthates.
Safer technology for nash replacement in molybdenum flotation
FLOTICOR™ DP sulfide depressants are a safer solution to replace NaSH in copper and molybdenum separation. This new technology is proven in commercial production of molybdenum concentrate, and it will allow you to eliminate the risk of H2S exposure while maintaining your molybdenum recovery and grade. FLOTICOR™ DP sulfide depressants are also generally effective at a lower dosage than NaSH.
HOSTAFLOT™ collectors are formulated to achieve the best possible recovery and grade in your copper flotation operations, whether processing primary, secondary or oxide copper mineralization. Our FLOTANOL™ frothers are customized to help you achieve the right froth to maximize recovery of coarse or fine materials, and our FLOTICOR™ additives can handle difficult ores with high viscosity pulps or undesirable contaminants.
FLOTICOR™ DP sulfide depressants are efficient NaSH replacements to depress copper in the flotation of molybdenum in copper-moly concentrates.
HOSTAFLOT™ collectors are formulated to achieve the best possible recovery and rougher grade in your bulk copper-moly concentrate. Products with low oils and low aromatics content are available for more stringent health, occupational and environmental requirements.
FLOTICOR™ DP sulfide depressants are safer NaSH replacement products for Cu-Mo separation that eliminate the risk of H2S exposure at all process conditions, maintain the molybdenum recovery and grade, and can generally be used at a lower dosage than NaSH.

FLOTICOR™ DC acid mist suppressants suppress acid mist in the electrowinning and electroplating process and are free of the fluorine based chemicals found in other suppressants. Our FLOTICOR™ DC acid mist suppressants are proven to perform as well as fluorinated alternatives and are compatible with the electrolyte in the electrowinning process without affecting cathode quality.
