Clariant is showcasing Plantasens Emulsifier HP 49, an innovative O/W emulsifier composed of four stearic acid-derived ingredients that delivers exceptional value across performance, skin benefits, and sensory experience. By forming stable liquid crystal structures, it provides superior formulation stability while emulsifying up to 30% oil phase. As stearic acid is a natural component of skin lipids responsible for maintaining barrier function, this emulsifier enriches the skin’s surface with moisturizing lipids, strengthening the skin barrier while improving hydration and elasticity.
