Emulsogen MT 050 is a nonionic emulsifier based on a fatty acid alkanol amide with low content of acid and amine. Generally it is used for milky and semisynthetic metalworking fluids.
Emulsogen MT 050 is highly compatible with anionic and nonionic surfactants. It has a very low foam tendency and provides outstanding lime soap dispersing power, being able to disperse large quantities of calcium oleate or tallate. Furthermore, Emulsogen MT 050 improves lubrication and shows good anti-wear properties.
